To train, connect, and nurture conscious #entrepreneurs. 💫 The event was kicked off by our Operating Director Nico Valenti Gatto and featured insights from Alessio Boceda and Giulia D'Amato’Amato, co-founders of Startup Geeks, and Carlo Occhinegro, PR Manager and Business Developer. 💡Giulia and Alessio took us through their inspiring #journey of establishing Startup Geeks, specifically highlighting how they utilized #marketing and #PR strategies to build a solid investor #network. ❓ Is it feasible for a student to live in an Italian city on a budget of 10 euros per day? This was the challenging #question tackled by 300 students during the third edition of the University Startup Challenge - Milan, an initiative promoted by the student associations E-Club Ventures, Entrepreneurship Club Polimi, E-Club || Bocconi Entrepreneurship Club, Entrepreneurship Club STATALE, and @Entrepreneurship Club Cattolica . Kicked off on April 19, the event wrapped up this weekend with the victory of the #Netloft project, which won the prize offered by B4i - bocconi for Innovation. Conceived and developed by Team #Tara, which includes Lorenzo Di Muro, Lorenzo Rossi, Martino Montrasio, Michele Collino and Tommaso Cairoli — students from Università Bocconi, Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca and IESE Business School—our congratulations go to them for their effort during the competition. We were also delighted to follow and support the #journey of the students involved in the initiative, bringing to life 42 #entrepreneurship projects, four of which, including Linkr, will be further developed with our help and that of other university #accelerators like PoliHub - Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator, Fondazione UNIMI, and iBicocca to nurture these business ideas into enterprises. It utilizes #genome graphs, a novel representation of genomic data that enhances the expression of genome variability, leading to more precise outcomes.
